We just learned of Earle's unfortunate passing. I first met Earle in Houston during the 1950s when he and Nancy (my cousin) came to our home before we moved to New Mexico in 1957. My wife Karin and I just want to express our most sincere condolences to Nancy and the kids, and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

Earl was one of my mentors when I first started at PGAL. Knew him as a fine architect and great gentlemen. The world is a lesser place without him.

Mr. A, as I called him, was a very kind and generous person whom I knew since I was in middle school. He had many cool cars and motorcycles, too. Reading his obituary, it's clear he was very accomplished professionally, and giving of his time and efforts to many causes. I was glad to know him, and give my condolences and support to Mrs. A and their children.
