I often think of The Duncans at least once a year. I decided to Google images of Jimmy Duncans name and was surprised to find the obituary of this fine man. My father and Mr. Duncan were very good friends. They are both in a much better place. He will always be thought of with great fondness.

"May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." This blessing, used by the priest at the end to the Eucharistic Service, comes from Paul's Letter to the Philippians 4:7.

Lilly, you and Jimmy were so special to our family - we couldn't have asked for better neighbors. I'd like to share some of the posts that the kids put on Facebook about Jimmy. Adam: Rest In Peace, Jimmy Duncan. A great extension of our family and a dear friend. Lauren: R.I.P. Jimmy. The coolest "next door grandpa" a girl could ask for. Lindsay: Jimmy D!!!!!!! You will be missed. Thanks for always letting us come over, mess around on your fancy piano, and drink Tang. R.I.P Sir. ?
Our love and prayers are with you at this time. God Bless you and your beautiful family! With much love and admiration.

Dear Lillian,
I've known Jimmy for over 50 years, I was saddened by his loss. Larry Kane introduced us and I was to help him change the lyrics for "My Special Angel". I am still in radio going into my 61st year. I broadcast live every Sunday on KNTH 1070AM Radio from 1-3PM. I am known as "The Antique Man" and will be doing a tribute to Jimmy this coming Sunday, November 20th. My condolences for you and the entire family.

It was a pleasure to have met Mr. Duncan a handful of times. He was gracious and one of the most interesting historian/storytellers. May he fly with his Special Angel.
