Jose Jaques Obituary
Jose ( Joe ), Manuel was called home to be with our lord and Savior. He was 88 years of age born on February 24, 1922 and passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maria Luisa Jaques. Daughter; Juanita Wichkoski, Husband, Richard Mizuno, Grandchildren, Shelby Jordan Wichkoski and Ethan Gates Mizuno. Son; Joseph Manuel Jaques, Wife, Diana Jaques, Grandchildren, Chelsea Marie and Ryan Joseph Jaques, son, Mario Jaques, Christine Jaques, Grandchildren, Adrian Jaques, Wife Jessica Jaques, Aaron Christian and Celine Gabrelle Jaques, and Great Grandchildren; Amanda Amelia, Adrianne Grace, and Jaiden Elizabeth Jaques, Daughter; Ana Marie Jaques, Grandchildren, Charlize Kate and Madison Lucia Jaques.
Jose graduated from Deer Park High School, and proudly served in the United States Army from 1942 through 1945. He reached the rank of Sergeant, and received the Marksmanship Badge-Sharpshooter. He was stationed at the Panama Canal during the war.
The family would like to send a speical thanks you to the loving and caring staff at St. Luke's Episocpal Hospital.
The family invites you to the visitation on Wednesday, February 23rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Ave Houston, Tx 77023. Funeral Services will be on Thursday 24th at Chapel of the Angels, Forest Park Lawndale at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions in Jose Manuel Jaques' name be directed to the Houston Lighthouse http.//www.Houstonlighthouse.org

I don't know where even to begin but Joe was such an awesome man to all the children from the neighborhood for when I was a child even my own children. Even now as we are all adults he has left a impact mark in our lives. We love you Mr. Joe Jaques and may the Angels in Heaven take good care of you.
