All Services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Sunlight Baptist Church, 6319 Laura Koppe (77016); Visitation 8:00-9:45 am and Service to follow at 10:00 am. Interment Houston National Cemetery.

As one of his grandchildren big daddy was more than a role model, man of God. He was and still is an icon in my life i think about him everyday and sometimes I find it hard to believe that he is gone but as elder people say I look to the hills for which cometh my help. I miss Big Daddy, he left behind a legacy that will forever be known to the people of God he impacted soo many lives including mines, he will forvever be missed I love you big daddy (grandfather

A man of GOD, devoted and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Rev. Boyd mission in life was about service, work ,providing for his family and nurturing his congregation. He believed that family was always first. His children adored him. GOD has called home a fine servant and he will truly be missed.
