Mary Miles Obituary
Three Grandchildren: Heather Thompson and her husband Craig, Rachel Adams and her husband Matt Adams, and Dennis Hagan, Jr. (Dillan) and his wife Ashlee. Seven Great-Grandchildren: Chase, Landon, Kyeler and Laila Thompson, Jaxson and Emma Adams and Lincoln Hagan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 6-8 PM at SouthPark Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 11 AM at Easthaven Baptist Church 13100 Beamer Rd. Houston, TX. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to St. Jude's Children Hospital. Please visit www.southparkfunerals.com to express condolences to the family.

My sincere condolences to the bereaved family of Ms. Miles. May you find comfort in reflecting on the many valuable lessons learned and the happy times you enjoyed together. Also our loving heavenly Father has promised to remove all causes of death and the sorrows that follows.

Mrs. Miles was never my teacher, but she was my sister's teacher and my principal. She treated each student like they were her own, and supported us in every way she knew how. She will be dearly missed. My prayers are with her family during this time of loss.

Mrs. Miles was my fourth-grade teacher at Easthaven, 1970-71. She was an inspiring, innovative educator who helped mold my character and my intellect. Thanks for everything, Mrs. Miles.

Suzette, Latresha and Extended Miles Family,
I remember Mary from the Easthaven years. She was always very kind and helpful in our discussions. I greatly admired her. Though I can't be there to bid her a final farewell, please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you all.
