From the moment we met, you impacted my life. All the hours of conversations about work and kids and the handmade cocktails and the ever-surprising taste in music are just a few of the things I will never forget. You were the only person that could make me see things differently. I had never had so much doing the silliest of things as I did with you. I will miss you every day.

I worked for Bernie and Sandee kopeck at Bernies Buster Brown Shoe Stores in Phoenix, Arizon from 1968 thru 1974 while I attended Arizona State University. I knew Mark, Steve, and Brenda as young children and enjoyed attending many of the family functions as they grew up. I lost contact after is was commissioned as an officer in the USAF and retired as a Bird Colonel in 2003. Now residing in New Braunfels Texas. Thru the years I often reflected on the kindness of t he Kopelman family during the years I worked for them. My fondness for Bernie and Sandee was alway in my heart for they made it possible for me to earn money to pay for my college education. I'm not surprised that Mark was so successful and had so many friends that loved him. I always believed that Mark, Steve, and Brenda would all be successful, because the parenting role models in Bernie and Sandee were spot-on. My condolences to Marks family for their loss. I've always had a soft spot for the Kopelam family. Thank you! Britt Marlowe

Mark will always be one of my lifetime friends. He loved everyone equally, and was a Force to be around. His laughter and smile will be with me always. My condolences to Steve and Brenda.

My condolences to the family. I worked for the Kopelman family in the late 60's and early 70's, one of my jobs was watching Mark, Steve and Brenda when Bernie and Sandy went out for the evening. When they got home I had them give my babysitting money to Mark and Steve since they won it all playing poker. A great family and a great loss way too soon. God Bless!

Mark not only was a great man who cared for others, he knew how to make great radio. His passion and inspiration was infectious and addictive. When he called you "Babe", you always walked away feeling like a million bucks. He will be missed.

My sister Sandy and I worked with Mark in Raleigh. He was a good friend and mentor to both of us. The last time I saw Mark was in Houston at Sandys funeral mass. The two of them had were very close and I have no doubt that she was pushing her way forward in the line to greet Mark as he crossed over. I pray that the memories of Mark and the love of your family gives you strength in the days ahead.

I worked with Mark in the early days of our careers at KNIX Radio and later with Clear Channel. He was very straight forward and focused - and that brought him much success over the years. So sorry to hear of his passing. Godspeed Mark!

I was privileged to work for Mark at Clear Channel Raleigh. Mark was 100 percent supportive of me and my work, and he genuinely considered my input. He was a straight shooter and always fair. We all appreciated him for that and sorely missed him when he moved on. God bless Mark's family with exceeding comfort and peace.

I went to grade school and high school with Mark. There is sonething about sharing formative years with someone that binds you together. I have not stayed in touch since college, but I remember Mark having a great sense of humor and always having a smile on his face. Sending blessings and comfort to all of his family.
