Oh Sandy, I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing. Don and I were friends beginning in 1974 and he was my mentor for many years. I owe so much to Don. He taught me so much and we had so many FUN memories. I will never forget him and I'm so saddened by your loss. My prayers are with you and your family.

To the Vrba Family,
I am so shocked and saddened by Don's passing. Don was one of my early mentors and taught me most of what I know about the electrical & lighting business. Don was responsible for bringing me back to Houston from Arkansas in 1975 and was my best friend through the 70s and 80s. I am so sad and will miss him dearly.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.

How sad I was to hear that Don had died. I have so many fond memories of him--from the time he was my dear friend Eva's handsome "little brother" through all the years when we would see him and his lovely family at major events in Eva and Ramsey's lives. God bless you Vrbas and comfort you during this sad loss of a wonderful man.

To the Vrba Family,

My prayers and thoughts go out to each and every one of you. I can remember when I started here at Fisk Electric 15 years ago Don was pretty much the first sales person I met. He was the most friendly and kindness person and always, had a big smile. He will forever be in our hearts. God bless him!

Dear Sandra and family,
Attending the family reunion each year was special for me, not only to see both sides of the Vrba family, but to spend time with Don. I knew that being in his company was just special. People were drawn to him. We spoke of golf, business, and other topics, and I knew he had forgotten more than most people know. I was saddened by the news, and know he's now joined with someone else who touched my life, Dan Vrba. My love to you and your family.

To the Vrba Family,

I grew up with the Vrba's down the street always playing with Becky. Mr. and Mrs. Vrba were wonderful. I offer my prayers to all of you for your loss. There are many great memories growing up having them as neighbors.

Don and Sandy were one of my "rocks" throughout Red's illness and after for me. Don was one of the kindest most giving humans I have ever known and will be missed so very much by everyone who ever came in contact with him. Nick is also so sad that he didn't have a chance to know him better and felt like he would have been a great friend for years to come. Our hearts go out to Sandy and all of the family. I will be there for you and Becky and Little Don just like you have been for me. All of my love and prayers are with you. Betty

Sandy, we are saddened to hear of Don's untimely passing. You probably know that Red was right there waiting for Don so they could go play a round of golf. He was such a dear friend to our "Bappy" and you to our "Mimi" during that difficult time. Now it is our turn to be here for you and your family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Big Don will truly be missed.

August 15, 2010

I remember Don as a very caring and generous person, he would always take a few moments to ask how you were doing, in todays world that means alot.
Don will be missed by many.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Family.

No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.
