Kathryn Feagin Obituary
Born in Austin, but raised in Houston, she graduated from The High School of Performing and Visual Arts in 1995, and then went on to Loyola University in New Orleans, graduating in 1999. Greer worked as a news producer at WDSU New Orleans, as well as at Fox 26 in Houston, winning the 2010 Lone Star Emmy awards for Special Feature Program.
As a daughter, aunt, sister, cousin, granddaughter, and friend, she will be remembered as a bright star in all our hearts.
A memorial service is to be conducted at three o'clock this afternoon, Monday, the 13th of May, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where The Rev. Reagan W. Cocke, Associate Pastor of The Church of St. John the Divine, is to officiate.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions may be directed to the Santa Maria Hostel, 2005 Jacquelyn Dr., Houston, TX, 77055; or to The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, 4001 Stanford St., Houston, TX, 77006.

While living in New Orleans, I'm so glad Greer came into my life when she did. She is such a classy lady and very funny. She really inspired me but I never told her. I know her spirit remains and I'll never forget her.

It's very difficult to find the words to write. I am so sorry for your loss. Greer and I had many many great times together when we lived in New Orleans.
