Charles "Chuck"
Lorino, Jr., 72, of Austin, passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 in Plano. Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26th, at 10-Shy Ranch Cemetery with Rex Boggs officiating.
The family received friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Eastland on Friday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
Chuck was born on August 7, 1940 in Houston to Charles Vernon, Sr. and Ann Bradley Lorino. He served in the U.S. Army and worked in the sales industry. He married Elizabeth Joan Elford on March 5, 1988 in Houston. Chuck was an avid golfer and Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth of Austin; children, Robin Bridges and her husband, Steve of Houston and Kelly Lorino; brother, Robert E. Lorino and his wife, Becky of Houston; sister, Susan Lorino Lacoste and her husband, Bob of Magnolia; three grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor and Christian; and two great-grandchildren, Ashton and Tyson.
A memorial service will take place at Harrell Funeral Home in Austin on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chucks' name may be made to: Baylor Health Care System Foundation for Cardiovascular Research, 600 Gaston Avenue, Barnett Tower, Dallas, TX 75246.
