1932-2016
Cyril J Smith passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2016 in Houston, Texas. He was born in Rockwood, Tennessee and proudly served in the United States Navy for four years.
Cyril was a successful entrepreneur in the insurance and real estate investment businesses. He was a larger than life character who was never afraid to take risks and always looking forward to his next big adventure.
Cyril's faith and family were always of the utmost importance to him. He is survived by his children Cyril Jeff and Debbie Smith, Cris and Bill Emmons, Bobby Smith, MG and John Tindall, Jericha Smith and fiancé Matt Rankin. He has numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless other family members who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 5-8pm. Funeral services will begin at 10am on Thursday, April 28, 2016. Both will be held at Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale Houston, Texas 77023.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Inspiration Ranch, pciranch.org.
