Donald Ray Blake, 48, of Galena Park, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012. He was born January 31, 1964 in Pasadena, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father Clifford B. Blake and sister Gayleen Barrera. Donald was employed we the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Hightower Unit in Dayton, Texas. He also served as a volunteer with the Galena Park Fire Department and EMT for over fifteen years. He was a member of Galena Park Assembly of God Church and also served as a board member of the church.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Guthrie Blake; son, Gary Ray Fisher and wife Jessica; daughter, Taylor Jordan Blake; grandchildren: Alexis Virginia Fisher and Jordan Lee Fisher; mother, Margie L. Blake; sisters: Theresa Brummett and husband Eugene and Lori Roberts and husband John; twin brother: Ronald Ray Blake and wife Dorene; brother-in-law: Rick Barrera as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, from 5 until 8:00 PM at Advantage Howard-Glendale Chapel, 1015 Federal Road.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Galena Park Assembly of God Church, 1211 2nd Street, Galena Park, Texas, with Pastor Glenda Guthrie officiating.
Interment will follow in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
