She is survived by her mother Gloria, grandmother Vivian Castellanos, aunts and uncles Vivian and David Trevino, Norma Castellanos and Javier Juarez, Paula Castellanos and Cesar Pulido as well as her cousins, Athena "Tina" Coronado, David Trevino, and his son David Jr. , Yvette and Mario Rodriguez, their children Mario, Nicolas and Isabella, Chloe Hinojosa and Dustin Hamaker, Jacob Hinojosa his son Elijah and her many best friends. She is also survived by her dog Major and her mother's dog Chief. Elizabeth J. Alexander was born January 16, 1969 to Gloria and Dalton Alexander in Houston, Texas. She was a great supporter of the arts and spent her entire career from college graduation until her death at the Houston Arts Alliance. "Liz did much work in the arts community and was considered by many as a true champion of Houston arts and artists. Her patience and servant leadership to her work was immeasurable." More importantly, Liz was a sweet, wonderful, compassionate, humble, funny and witty, outspoken and creative woman. She was extremely talented and artistic beyond belief. Liz was intelligent, strong minded and strong willed. She was patientsometimes. She was brillant, gifted and had a wicked dry sense of humor. "She was clandestine (or not). Originator of the perfect quip at the perfect time". Liz loved unconditionally and was our memory maker she shaped our experiences, photographed them or made art to commemorate them. "Just know that when you look up and see wonderlandscapes in the clouds know, that Liz is making art with angels."
