His life will be celebrated at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church, 3826 Wheeler, Saturday, September 10th @ 11:00 AM
Mr. King will lie in state in the Rose Chapel of Mabrie Memorial Mortuary, Friday, September 9th from 12 PM until 5 PM and from 6 PM until 9:00 PM at The Shrine of The Black Madonna, 5309 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd where his family will be present @ 6:30 PM to receive visitors.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 7 PM
Celebrating his life and legacy he leaves his wife of 41 years Leallia King; daughter, Tandiwe E. Kone (Dahie) and son, Ahmed King; granddaughter, Siva Kone; grandson, Tchanori Kone; mother, Vergie King; siblings, Lillie Cook and David King and many other dear relatives and friends.
