Felipa Adame Obituary
Felipa G. Adame 90, of Houston,Texas went home to be with her heavenly father on August 20, 2012. She was born September 28, 1921. Felipa and her deceased husband Amado M. Adame were married 64 years. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church.
She traveled with her husband throughout the United States and worked as a cook for her husband's railroad workers who were employed by Wm. A. Smith Construction Co., in her earlier years. She loved crafts, drawing, reading, sewing, fishing, music and dancing. She was a homemaker and was an excellent cook who cooked like no one else. She was also the best babysitter in the world and loved children.
She will forever be remembered by her devoted daughter who took care of her, her grandchildren and great -grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Amado M. Adame, Bobby G. Adme, Amado Adame Jr., and great- grandson Michael Adame Jr., her father Pablo Garcia and and her mother Antonia Castillo Garcia.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Mary Helen Polk and her husband Tom, Sisters Esmeralda Escobedo and Juanita Suarez, grandchildren Arlinda Munsey and husband Jim; Artie Arias and wife Debbie; Aaron Arias and wife Kim; Adrian and wife Renee; Robert Adame;Michael Adame and wife Helene. 18 great -grandchildren ; Jimmy, Melissa and Chuck Munsey; Art Jr. , Chris and Brandon Arias; Amber, Cameron, Jacob, Hunter and Austin Arias; Blake and Travis Arias; Adrianna and Britney Adame; and Jerica, Cassie and Chloe Adame. She will also be missed dearly by her sister, many nephews and nieces and close friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday , August 23, 2012, from 5-9pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funerl Home with Rosary Service at 7pm. Funeral Service is on Friday August 24, 2012 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church 4918 Cochran Street, Houston Texas at 10 am. Burial to follow at Forest Park Cemetary.
