Grady and I grew up across the street from each other and walked to school together. My husband is an amputee and he and Grady always had a conversation at the class reunions. I can't believe this was So quick. Grady was a super guy and sorely missed.

I just heard the sad news of Grady's passing. I waas a classmate at Tivy High School and at Texas A&M. We had reestablished contact this spring and I had really enjoyed hearing from him and sharing a few stories. My deepest condolences to his family.

I was so sorry to hear of Grady's passing. While I didn't know him as long as some of the others who posted here, he was such a great personality I never forgot him and the few conversations we had. He will be sorely missed.

Dr. Glen was a very kind helpful man. He helped me get set up with my PCO license, and met with me one on one in his office at Texas A&M to give me a lecture on fumigation. He emphasized safety. He was always willing to take my calls and give me advice. My prayers go out to his wife and family. Robert M (Waco, TX)

To the Glenn family: Dr. Glenn was a tremendous gentleman. Always took the time to explain and help me coordinate a "Continuing Education" program for our employees here at Texas A&M. Just know that we are all thinking of you in this very difficult time.

I appreciated Dr. Glenn and his help with the insect that I brought to him at the campus. I will miss his spirit of helping solve Extension clinetele problems as an Entomologist. I will also miss him as a friend most of all. Our prayers are with you all at this time. Ron Holcomb (Liberty, TX)

I recently meet Dr. Glen in early June while he proctored an exam I was taking. After only spending a few minutes with him I felt I had known him all my life. I was shocked to hear the news of his passing and feel a deep sense of loss that I will not be able to get to know him better. Grady you are going to be missed. My prayers and condolences are with his family and friends.

I have know Grady for many years, as a new sales rep working for Thompson Hayward Chemical I would call on Grady and Laura when the boy were just little guys. He was a one man show. Every year when I went to the National Pest Managment Convention, I would try and find out if Grady was there, if not I would always make sure I picked up a bug necktie from the Whitmire booth and make sure I got it to him. He always smiled when he got these and told me he wore them all the time when making speaches around the country. We kept in touch, and I watched as he moved to Houston and worked for End-O-Pest, and then back to College Station. I stayed in contact during his years of working on his PhD. Always smiling. Right after his marriage to his second wife, he was so happy he could not help himself. A major lost to the industry and personal friendship. I kmow he is walking the clouds, with no pain from his missing leg, and telling everyone in Heaven, just how wonderful his life was and how he so enjoyed the family he so dearly loved.

Grady was a very sweet man who will be missed in all aspects of his life. I was impressed with the way he encouraged a previous employees young son to follow in the Entomology way of life.

Grady and I had the chance to interact when we were both in graduate school. He was a gentleman and a scholar and will be greatly missed in the world of Texas entomology.

Grady was a great friend, a great co-worker...in some ways a kindred spirit, and a true pleasure to be around. His knowledge, experience and wisdom were unrivaled...there is no replacement for such a dedicated sole. He will be greatly missed. God bless his family, our prayers are with you.

Grady is and was a very special man. It was an honor to be his next-door neighbor and everyone here in our House will dearly miss him. He will be in our hearts everyday. Grady, we will be planting that myrtle next to Jacob's window. He truly misses you and will love having your tree next to him. All the kids in the neighborhood loved being able to run to you so you could teach them about this new bug.. :)
