Jeremy Cole Obituary
Jeremy Cole, Funeral services for Jeremy Cole, 36, will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel. Interment will follow in Rocky Branch Cemetery in West Monroe, LA. Pastor Rich McGahan will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Jeremy Cole was born July 11, 1976 in Lafayette, LA. He was employed by Chesapeake Midstream Energy as an Operator Class-5. He passed away on July 12, 2012. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, music, coaching his kids in sports, racing cars, eating crawfish, customizing, comics, movies, working out, and golf. Jeremy was a family man and loved his wife and children. He will be missed immensely.
Jeremy was a free spirit, never reluctant to tackle and conquer any job or challenge in life, regardless of the difficulty. He lived his life to the fullest every day, never wanting to miss out on that one last adventure. He was "The Coach" among coaches, always taking a volunteer's responsibility of mentoring and providing for not only his children but all children, including their families, friends, and community to the highest level. His spirit never missed a person whenever he saw a need or just friendship. He was a husband, father, son, brother, stepbrother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, best friend, hard worker, lover and fighter, and a family man who gave his all to them expecting nothing but love and friendship in return. Family, friends, co-workers, and even strangers could always expect a cheerful encounter with Jeremy; he would always attempt to get a reaction, laugh, or at least a grin from them with one of his many stories, tall-tales, or practical jokes. He was a hard-working, selfless, and successful Chesapeake-Midstream employee to the core. His company was not an employer but a second family and home. His stomping grounds touched and left a mark on so many lives in his relationships with his Chesapeake-Midstream family.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty J. Cole; grandfather, Prentice "Pete" White; great-grandfather, Allen White; great-grandmother, Louise White; great-aunt, Dot Rogers; great-grandmother, Vera Chapman; and great-grandfather, J.T. Chapman. He is survived by his mother, Angela K. White; father, Dennis E. Cole and Donna J. Cole; Chasity Richardson Cole; sons, Jonas M. Richardson and Joshua E. Cole; daughter, Olivia J. Cole; and parents-in-law, Donna R. and John D. Richardson; grandparents, Ernest Cole and Winnie White; sisters, Brandy D. Burke, Stephanie Cole, Stacie Cole, Brandi H. Richardson, and Jeannie R.
