Maria Arauza Obituary
Maria (Lupita) Arauza, 84, died on May 4, 2011 in her home of natural causes. She is survived by her son Reynaldo Arauza Jr., her daughter Maria Avalos and son in law Hector Avalos. She also had one sister, Gloria Castro and two brothers, Hector Garza and Heriberto Garza. She also left behind five grandchildren, Joshua Vincent, Gabriela Braastad, Mercedes Kirk, Geraldo Devora, Justin Arauza and two great grandchildren, Kevin and Kyle Kirk. Lupita touched everyone she met with her gentle kindness and love. Her smile and ability to light up a room will be missed but never forgotten.

My Grandmother Tita was not only my grandmother but she was my mother to, after my Mom Martha Devora her daughter past away. She would try to do everything she could to fulfill that empty spot in my heart and she couldn't have done a better job. I will miss her forever. May you rest in peace tita we will all miss you very much.

Lupita was very kind to me when I was in need. Somehow she knew that I didn't have anything to eat and would show up with a plate of fideo with chicken. I was a teenager at the time. She will always be remembered as a true Christian.

Lupita and Ray, I am very sorry for the lost of your Mom. Your mom was a very sweet and beautiful person. She was always very nice to me and will be missed. God Bless to both of you and your family and treasure the beautiful memories you have shared.

My mother, Estela Falcon, and Tia Lupita were cousins and were very close. My mother passed away a year and a half ago. I am sure they are "comadriendo" in heaven. My Tia Lupita was and is an Angel from Heaven who we will miss dearly. She cared deeply for our Father and he for her as she was like a second Mom to him. We are grateful for everything she’s done for him. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Our condolences go out to her family.
