Matthew Armintor Obituary
Matthew Robert Armintor was born on September 17, 1959 in Houston, Texas. Matt was the 5th of 7 sons and 2 daughters of Ralph and Barbara Armintor. He was raised and participated with his six brothers and two sisters in the Catholic faith at St. Augustine and Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Matt is survived by his mother, Barbara Armintor, and his siblings Allen Armintor & wife Ann, Frank Armintor, Lloyd Armintor, Mark Armintor & wife Justi, Ramona Gates, Travis Armintor & wife Izzy, Rosana Rucker & husband Steve, and Ralph Armintor, III & wife Lisa. His nieces and nephews were Chris, Mandy, Mollie, Benjamin, Mary, Mark, Jr., Kyle, Dewayne, Lacy, Sofia, Christopher, Carly, Anna Rose, Amber, and Max. He is also survived by the Love of his Life, to whom he was married for 11 years, Tina Armintor. Matt leaves behind many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends. Special mention is given to his dear Aunt Shirley & beloved Uncle Brad, and to his Aunt Annette Dees. He was preceeded in death by his father, Ralph Armintor, uncle, Brad Armintor, his brother-in-law, Richard Gates, and his niece, Amber Armintor.
Matt began his career with Brown & Root, and was employed most recently as a software consultant with IHS Intermat. He traveled extensively in the U.S. and overseas, namely England, France, Ireland, Scotland, India, Africa, Costa Rica, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and various other places in the world.
Matt was dedicated to his work, and was a devout son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his Family, and the Great State of Texas. He will be missed by many.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, January 13, 2012, from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Advantage Howard-Glendale Chapel, 1015 Federal Road.
