MIRL JESSE ALBIN, JR., joined his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Marie Domaschk Albin, for their life together in Heaven, on the evening of July 9, 2010.Dad was born in Houston, Texas on February 17, 1919 to Bessie Martin and Mirl J. Albin. He lived his entire life in Houston leaving only to serve in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Mirl was a graduate of U of H, Class of 1948, he was proud of his lifelong career as an independent CPA serving many small businesses in the Houston area. He and Dorothy were charter members of St. Mark Lutheran Church.TogetherMirl and Dorothy had four children, Mirl Jesse Albin, MJ, (deceased), Carol Albin Walker and husband Alan, Jerrie Albin Stobb and husband Gary, and Louis Domaschk Albin, LD, and wife Betsy. His loving family also includes his sister Louise Kettle, sister-in-law Puddn' Krueger and husband Wesley, five grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one almost here, many nieces and nephews.The family will receive visitors beginning at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 12, 2010 at Waltrip Funeral Directors, where services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Private interment will be in Woodlawn Garden of Memories. Serving as pallbearers are Bryce Stobb, David Stobb, Frank Coffey, Bryan Conner, Ray Krueger, Kenneth Krueger, Zakk Vannoy and Devin Coffey.Special Thanks to wonderful care-givers, Adama Conti and Mary Martinez, who enabled Mom and Dad to live out their lives in the home they built so many years ago.
