Pamela R. Johnson,

Born in Maumee, Ohio, on October 9, 1961, Pam graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art and Sculpture from the University of Houston in 2011. She exhibited her works in welding, painting, metalsmithing, photography, enameling, and ceramics in the Houston Art Crawl since 2005, as well as various local galleries.
A longtime Christian, Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Vincent and Doris Elaine Johnson. Pam is survived by fiancé, Robert Jenkins; brothers, John Burke and Dana Johnson; nieces, Emily Scribner and Taylor Scribner; nephew, Ben Johnson; faithful friend, "DonMac" Don Macanich; and her beloved pets and hundreds of friends who considered her family.
Known to her friends as "Pam Jam", she was a supporter of the Houston Blues Society. Pam was a drummer in several local bands until her illness made it impossible to play. Pam will be especially remembered for her quick wit, spirit of adventure, and curiosity that allowed her to succeed in many diverse endeavors.
Memorial donations may be made in Pam's name to either the Houston Blues Society or any animal rescue organization.
