ROBERT E. "BOBBY" CHRISTENSEN, 80, of Houston, TX entered into rest peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2009. Born in Houston, TX on May 15, 1928, he was preceded in death by his parents, Nels & Edna G. Christensen, daughter, Sharron Covington, brothers, Nels, Donald, Everett, and Billy Christensen, and sister, Gladys Beran. He is survived by his wife, Margarita Christensen; granddaughters, Michelle Hruby and Kelli Covington; son-in-law, Mike Covington; great-grandchildren, Laura and Kyle Hruby; brother, Ervin Christensen his wife Peggy; sister, Jessie McKeown; Brother-in-law, Barney Beran; sisters-in-law, Mary and Halee Christensen, and Virgina and Doris Amador, of Puerto Rico; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2009 at SouthPark Funeral Home. A Funeral Service Celebrating Mr. Christensen's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at SouthPark Funeral Home, 1310 N. Main St. in Pearland.
