Robert Bryant Evans 83, of Houston, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother,uncle, and friend, passed away April 17, 2012. Bob was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. The middle of three sons of D.B. and Elizabeth Taylor Evans. Bob grew up working with his father in his construction business and some years later, established Evans and Northdale Construction Companies. Bob proudly served during wartime with the the National Guard and in his younger days, was a boxer and an avid pilot. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Shriners, the Jesters, and Sugar Creek Baptist Church. Bob was preceeded in death by his parents, brother John Evans and son Tony Evans. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Gudrun Evans, brother Ross Evans, sons Gary Evans and wife Sharon, Kyle Evans amd wife Joann, Scott Evans, Mark Evans and wife Paige. Daughters, Lisa Morgan and Monica Atkinson and husband Glenn, his many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and mother-in-law Irmgard Dean. Bob will be remembered for his compassion, loyalty, passion, drive and love of family. In lieu of flowers, and donations can be made to the 100 Club or Living Water International.
