Theodore Conway Obituary
Theodore Conway Theodore (Big Ted) Conway was born on August 18, 1972 to Mr. and Mrs. John and Marlene Conway in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Ted was born second oldest of six siblings. He graduated from Oconomwoc High School in 1990. Ted was baptized in the Catholic Church at a young age and also served as an alter boy. Ted and his family regularly attended St. James Catholic Church in Spring, TX.
Ted went on to further his education as well as play basketball at Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota where he graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice.
After college, Ted began his career in government service with the Federal Bereau of Prisons at the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota. He later transferred to the Federal detention Center in Sea Tac in Seattle, Washington. While at Sea Tac, Ted met Dita. Ted and Dita were married on July 3, 1999, a day Dita fondly calls " the day she lost her independence". Both Ted and Dita then transferred to the Federal Detention Center in Houston, Texas.
Ted continued his federal government career with the Department of Homeland Security and currently served as a United States Air Marshall, working in various capacities with the agency.
From Ted and Dita's union, two children were born; Payton Taylor Conway(who preceded him in death) and their three year-old daughter, Skylar Paige Conway.
To cherish his memories, Ted leaves his wife Dita; daughter Skylar; parents, John and Marlene; siblings, Amber(Steven); Katie(Stephen); Matthew( Victoria); John Paul (Samantha); and Patrick. He also leaves a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, close family and neighbors.
Family Visitation will be held Saturday December 29, 2012 from 9am-9:45am. A Funeral Mass will also be held Saturday December 29, 2012 starting promptly at 10am. All services will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 22800 Aldine Westfield Rd. Spring, TX. 77373.
