It continued to grow with the opening of Tom Peacock Cadillac and Tom Peacock Nissan.A man of few words, he was blessed by God with good health, a keen business acumen and the gift of insight. Mr. Peacock was my Sunday School teacher at Broadway Baptist in the early 1950s. He was a wonderful role model and had a profound influence on my life. He promised our class, if we would get 100% in studying our lesson each week and 100% attendance for one month, he would take us to Waco to a Baylor football game. He kept his promise and took us to a game within a few weeks of our meeting our 100% goals. He was a blessing to every one who was lucky enough to have known him.
