Daddy,
I can't believe you are gone. I miss you terribly everyday. You were a wonderful father, grandfather to Skylar and father n law to Garry. I took solace in being able to take care of you while you were ill. It was heart wrenching to watch you pass before my eyes but privileged to have been able to be with you, holding your hand.
Your suffering is over now and God is with you. I love you very much...All my love forever, Jen, aka "The Kid"

Looking at the pictures you posted just brings back a flood of memories of my childhood. Our dads working together at Binswanger and many visits to your home. I'm sure John and my dad are in heaven now smoking pipes and talking about the glass business. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I worked with John for many years during our time at Interpane Glass. I knew I could always count on him when a technical matter came up, regardless of the time of day. Many phone calls were made by me from all over the world in search information to close the gaps in my knowledge. He was a good man and always professional. My condolences to his family, it was a pleasure knowing John.

I will truly miss my occasional phone calls and visits with John. John and I have been acquainted over 45 years through our mutual relationships in the glass industry. We have been fishing together from Mexico to Canada and I cherish these fond memories. He was always a gentleman and good friend. I will miss John.

Rose, There are a lot of people who are sharing your sorrow and gref today, and I'm one of thoes people. John hired me into the "glass buisness" in 1969. He taught me, and so many others, about the industry and how to respect our profession and the people who we worked with and for. You, Jen, and Kim are in my heart and prayers at this sad time. We all have lost a good man.

I met John in Clinton, NC in the early 1990's, when he was working with Interpane. We kept up over the years at trade shows and sometimes over the phone. He was wise, funny and one of the true gentlemen in the glass industry.

I was fortunate to work with John several times during my career, both as a coworker and as a vendor. He was a great guy and a class act and I am greatly saddened by his passing.

Kim and Jen,
Some of my favorite high school memories include going to your house (usually to wait while Kim was getting ready!) and how funny, loving and affectionate your Dad was. I was so touched at how much your parents loved each other, and the two of you and how frequently that love was given and shown. I'm so sorry to hear about his passing, losing a parent is really tough and heartbreaking. I know that you all loved him very much and he was so proud and loved all of you. Hugs, kisses and prayers to your entire family.

John and I traveled to Winston Salem, North Carolina for a pre-construction meeting on "One Triad Park" building. I looked up to John as he was very professional in his work. I will always remember that trip. I was very fortunate to cross his path in this life.
