Obituary Condolences

Sarah "Sally" Tucker Solito, was born on the 24th of December 1934, in Austin, Texas and passed on the 6th of March 2014, in Bryan, Texas under the loving care of Hospice Brazos Valley. Sally spent the majority of her life as a fine arts appraiser with Tucker Appraisal Associates and volunteered her time as a docent at the Museum of Fine Arts. Sally loved life and loved to entertain friends and family. She was a member of the Texas Division, United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a lifelong member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and an associate member of Bellville United Methodist Church.
Sally is survived by her son, Keny Jim Tucker (wife Kay) of Sealy, Texas; grandson, Michael Jim Tucker of Austin, Texas; granddaughter, Amy Leah Tucker of Freeport, Texas; great-grandson, Nathaniel Perry Tucker of Austin, Texas; step brother, Bill Elvins (wife Eileen) of California; longtime friends, Helon Stubbs of Channelview, Texas, Francisca Morales of Houston, Texas, Darla Lexington of Houston, Texas, Mary Lou Soper of Houston, Texas, and Frank and Jo Mary Rice of Medina, Texas; plus many other friends and relatives. She is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Judge Peter S. Solito; parents, Jim Tucker and Lorena Kinsey Tucker Elvins.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening, on Monday, the 10th of March in the parlor and grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons Funeral Directors, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
A memorial service is to be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon, on Tuesday, the 11th of March in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, where Dr. Tom Pace, Senior Pastor of St. Luke's United Methodist Church is to officiate.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family in a reception to be held in the adjacent grand foyer.
Prior to the memorial service, the family will have gathered for a private interment at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston, where Amy Haralson, Associate Pastor of Bellville United Methodist Church is to officiate.
