Charles L. Wynn Obituary
Charles L. Wynn, of Montgomery, TX, age 80, a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather "Papa" passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and children on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Charles was born on October 14, 1933 in Saltillo, TX. Charles proudly served our county in the United States Army from 1953-1956 and was a veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, sons Mike Wynn and wife Susy, Wayde Wynn, John Wynn and wife Jennifer, daughter Stephanie Wilkes and husband Brandon. Grandsons, Scott Wynn, Robert DeWolfe, and David Wynn; Granddaughter, Kathleen DeWolfe; Sisters, Ruth Johnson, Annette Ray, Jane Littrell and husband Don, Sue Clusey and Clyde. Charles was a Supervisor at Amoco and retired in 1990. He continued his career with Apache and Tri-Union until 2000. With his knowledge and experience he began consulting in oil and gas up until 2014. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, spending time with family and making sure his grandkids had plenty of candy. Visitation will be held at Klein Funeral Home, Monday March 10, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Zion Lutheran, 907 Hicks St., Tomball. Interment will follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Fwy, Houston. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Living Savior Lutheran Church, 309 Pond Street Montgomery, TX 77356.
