Glenn Sparks Obituary
Glenn Harrison Sparks, KI5GY, born May 3, 1956 to LaVon Pinkston and James Sparks, and passed away April 8, 2014, after a lengthy battle with brain cancer. He leaves behind his wife, Lisa Nixon Sparks; daughter, LaTricia; sons, Charles and Peter; and foster son, David Joshua Louie; granddaughters, Kassandra and Allyson.
Glenn had many interests and his life touched many areas, including his career in computer sales and support, College Park Baptist Church, umpiring for Braeburn Little League, the Echo Society, the Houston Story Tellers Guild. He and Lisa were also active in AFS foreign exchange programs.
Visitation with the family will be on Friday, April 11, 2014, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at College Park Baptist Church's parlor, 7887 Beechnut, Houston, TX 77074. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2014, at College Park Baptist Church. All attendees are invited to lunch after the memorial service. Remembrances may be made to the College Park Music Ministry.
