Beulah Ezernack Obituary
BEULAH BLANC EZERNACK, Joined the Lord and loved ones, on April 9, 2014. Born 6/21/1929, in Smithville, TX, the 7th of 8 children born to Carlos R and Octavia (Bienvenu) Blanc. She was raised in Houston, graduated from Jeff Davis HS in 1947, worked at concessions at Hermann Park, on the "boards" at Merrill Lynch Fenner Pierce & Smith, and acquired her Cosmetology license. Married Henry Ezernack in 1949, and had one daughter. She was a homemaker until she went to work in 1971 for Memorial Hermann Hospital System (NW) as a Pharmacy Clerk where she retired after 25 years of service.
She is survived by daughter, Claudia Branen and husband Johnny, much adored Grand-daughter Amanda (Hassebrock) Duran and husband Humberto, sister Sue Travis and husband Don (Denver, CO), her much loved niece Shirley (Osminer) Whitley and husband Robert, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren.
Beulah was predeceased by her parents, her brothers; Diddie Blanc, Howard Patrick Blanc, Jerome Pete Blanc, Albert (Bobby) Blanc, and sisters; Melba (Blanc) Osminer, and Joann (Blanc) Bailey, and ex-husband, Henry Ezernack.
She sent her love and adoration to her beloved girls at Memorial Hermann NW Pharmacy, who were thought of as her other children. When she thought of you, she always grinned.
We wish to express appreciation to the staff at Grace Hospice of Houston, for their loving care and hard work to help us keep her home to continue her courageous battle against cancer. She adored you all, with special affection for Tina Lucas. We couldn't have done it without you.
To celebrate Beulah's life, friends and family will gather at the home of Amanda & Humberto, on Thursday, April 24, 2014, at noon, to share food, fellowship and stories. Call for details (281) 571-3293.
