Jimmie Lou Clendennen Obituary
Jimmie Lou Riggs Clendennen, age 86 was born on June 7, 1927 in Rhonesboro, Upshur County, Texas to Tina Davis and Cecil Carl Riggs. She married Barney Lynn Clendennen in Houston on March 10, 1946. She passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Tomball, Texas.
Jimmie Lou is preceded in death by her husband, Barney Lynn Clendennen; son, Charles S. Clendennen; sister, Patsy Wilson and brother, Gene T. Dawson.
She is survived by her children, Linda Ruth Ponder and husband John Ponder, Beverly Lynne McNulty and husband Leslie McNulty and Carl Clendennen and wife Angelique; grandchildren, Darrell Lynn Clendennen and wife Elaine, Charles Allen Clendennen, Michael Thomas Kain and wife Rosalee, Kelly Valenzuela and husband Santiago Valenzuela, Kamron McNulty and wife Amanda, Mason Ponder, Adrienne Ponder and Daniel Lee Clendennen and wife Anna; great-grandchildren, Chantell Painter, Cody Clendennen, Arianna Clendennen, Joshua Clendennen, Kallie Kain, Kameron Kain, Tristan McNulty, Parker McNulty, Zoey Clendennen, Emily Clendennen and Cora Valenzuela; great-great-granddaughter, Peyton Painter and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Monday, May 12, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with the Celebration of Jimmie Lou's life to be held Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. All services will be held in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
