This has been one of the saddest and most difficult pieces of news to receive. It's so unbelievable that Peter is gone. Memories are fresh of our days at St. Andrews High School in Blantyre, Malawi. Peter was a big brother to many.

Despite Peter relocating to the US several years ago, we remained in touch. When my family moved to Dallas, TX Peter visited us several times from his base in Houston. He may have been born in Tanzania but we considered him 100% Malawian and I know he loved his adopted country, the USA, too. I guess you could say he was a global citizen who would probably fit anywhere.

We last got in touch some time in April this year. Little did I know that that would be the last exchange. I hold on to the memories of a dear friend, a life taken away so young and vibrant.

Our condolences go to Lakenya and all family members. We mourn with you and share in your loss.

LaKenya,

Please know 'earth has no sorrow, heaven cannot heal!' Continue to look to the hills from whence cometh your help. I am praying for you. Love you,
