Dianne Dorothy Warburton departed our world to be with God, June 26, 2014. She fought a good fight against cancer for almost two years and is now at peace. Dianne was born on November 23, 1935, in San Antonio, TX.|
Dianne attended the University of Texas, where she studied art. She was a gifted artist and had a long career as a distinguished fashion artist. During her career, she worked for the well-known department stores, Joske's, Everett-Beulow, Craig's and Sakowitz. She met Billy G. Warburton on a blind date 43 years ago. They married and combined their seven children into a family. Dianne will be remembered for her quick wit and fierce loyalty to her family and friends.
Dianne is preceded in death by her mother, Geraldine Belton; stepfather, William F. Belton; sister, Marcie Cockle; son, Patrick Andrus; and grandson, Warren Vaughn.
Dianne is survived by her husband, Billy G. Warburton; daughter, Bronwyn Seay and husband Keith; granddaughter, Jordan; brother, Bill Belton and wife Darlene; and nephew, Chris Cockle. Also surviving Dianne are her stepchildren, Linda Warburton, Ellen Vaughn, Susan Pritchard, Glenn Warburton and wife Wanda, Greg Warburton and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, Kelly, Megan, Bradly, Stacy and Keith; and great-grandchild, Fallon.
Dianne loved and was loved by her church family at Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. Her many contributions to the parish will live on in the memories of all. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on July 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Epiphany, 9600 South Gessner, Houston, TX 77071. A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
