Everett Coberly Obituary
Everett Jay Coberley Homegoing for Everett Jay Coberley. Known as "Jay" to many friends and family, he was born November 5, 1930 in Nowata, Oklahoma, grew up across northern Oklahoma and moved to Houston, Texas in 1960. He entered quietly into God's Rest July 23, 2014. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Agnes Mae (Bell) Coberley and parents, Everett and Marjorie (Foust) Coberley.
Jay is survived by his wife Reba (White) Coberley, sons David M. "Mike" and Doug, daughters-in-law Carole and Debbie Coberley, brothers Kenneth and James Coberley, grandchildren Matt and Ashley Coberley and Dianne and Kirk Powell, and great grandchildren Brooke, Fayth and Will DeLeon and Cameron and Everett Coberley and many nieces, nephews and others that were dear to him and will miss him very, very much.
Visitation will be held July 25, 2014, 5-8PM at the home of Jim and Rene Trevathan, 7826 Camden Hollow Lane, Humble TX 77396. A Memorial Service will be held 2PM on Saturday, July 26, at Lindale Assembly, 503 Reid St, Houston, TX 77022, Phone: 713-695-4582. Private internment to be held at Houston National Cemetery.
Jay was a dedicated and involved member of Gideon's International for many years. It was his wish that, in lieu of flowers, donations be given in his memory to the Gideons International, Houston Central NW Camp, P.O. Box 91023 , Houston , TX 77291. Memorial Cards will also be available at the service on Saturday.
