Acandle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. RICKY ANDREWS was born to Charlie and Mabel Andrews on October 26, 1953. We lost an extremely unique, and extraordinary individual on Friday morning, September 26th. He was a beloved husband, musician, songwriter, artist and bard, a former employee of Star Furniture for fifteen years, successful computer programmer, and father. He released his first CD in 1998 with his long time friend, Pat Mikulin. His life will be celebrated by his Wife and best friend Margie, daughter, Erin Andrews; son, Todd Andrews; step-daughters Jennifer Nost and Kristin Nost-Munoz; stepson Bryan Nost; sisters, Lessie Bowers and Norma Neely and a multitude of close family and friends. This is a man that gave new meaning to intelligence, creativity, and worldliness. He was well traveled and an eloquent man. There wasn't anything that he could not converse with you about. The world has lost a great being, but his soul will live on forever in our hearts. We will celebrate his life when we release his ashes at the Frio River on May 24th, 2009 at a memorial service.
