JUDITH LEE HANCE KEPPLER, passed away on March 7, 2009 at the age of 53 with her family by her side following a courageous battle with cancer. Judy, as known to her friends was born in Lima, Ohio on July 10, 1955. She was the oldest of five siblings, Jayne, Joe, John and David. She grew up in Orchard Lake, Michigan where she held her fondest childhood memories. Her family later relocated to the Houston area where she graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1973. She took pre-nursing courses at Southwest Texas and spent 29 years doing what she loved, working as an oral surgical assistant. Phoenix was also her home for more than 10 years where she raised her two daughters. She enjoyed big family gatherings especially around the holidays; Christmas being her most treasured time of year. She loved traveling to see new places and often took weekend road trips. Judy was a strong, caring, selfless and loving person that always celebrated life. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a true friend to everyone she met. Her memories will be forever cherished by her two daughters Amy Pennington and Alyssa Pike, her grandchild Andrew Pennington, her parents, Dr. Joseph William Hance and Judith Lee Pratt and her husband of six years Kenny Keppler. A memorial service to celebrate Judy's all-too short life will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church Saturday, March 14th at 2:00pm 12111 W. Bellfort in Stafford, TX.
