Richard Reed Obituary

RICHARD (RICK) STEVEN REED, 64, of Houston, Texas passed away March 26th 2009. A native Houstonian, Rick was born on May 15, 1944. Rick was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt, fish, cook and camp out. His laugh-inducing fireside stories will be greatly missed. He will be graciously remembered as a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served three years in Germany. He is preceded in death by his father, Francis Dale Reed. He is survived by his mother, Polly Reed, his son Steven Reed and wife Marilyn, his grandchildren Lacey and Caroline Reed, his brother Dennis Reed and wife Jean, his sister Cindy Reed Moriarty, and several nieces and nephews. An intimate family service and burial was held Tuesday, March 31st at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his memory to the Fisher House Foundation, 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, MD 20850.
