Obituary Condolences

WILLIAM "BILL" FOOTE, 63, of Cleveland, TX, died Sunday, July 19, 2009. Born August 2, 1945 in Columbus, OH, son of Reginald James and Harriette Morgan Foote he graduated in 1963 from Robert E. Lee HS and attended Lee Jr. College in Baytown. In 1968, Bill joined the Navy, serving in South Vietnam in the Mobile Construction Battalion 10 as an EA2. On March 31, 1972 he married Marilyn Kennedy. He received a BS in Technology in May 1977 from the University of Houston. His career included work at Jaycon Engineering, Brown and Root, Entec, Inc. and ownership of a Farmers Insurance Agency in Huntsville. He was consulting Engineer for SW Bell from 1995- 2001 and from 2001, he was OSP Engineer in Huntsville for AT&T. Bill was an avid hunter and member of Big Creek Hunting Club, Houston MG Car Club, SASS (Single Action Shooting Society) and he and Marilyn belong to Deerbrook Baptist Church. He was a man of integrity, a wonderful husband, Dad and "Paw-Paw". His grandchildren's number one fan, he was always in the stands for every sports competitions and piano recitals. He is survived by wife, Marilyn Foote; son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Andrea Thompson of Spring,TX; daughter and son-in-law, Darla and David Temple of Humble, TX; grandchildren Christopher Thompson and Hannah Thompson of Spring, TX; and Delana Temple of Humble, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Pat and George Selmser of Channelview, TX; brothers and sisters-in-law, Earl and Shirley Kennedy of Splendora, TX; Dr. Sammy Kennedy of Cypress TX; Debbie and Bobby Whitehorn of Houston, TX; Kevin and Rebecca Kennedy of Magnolia, TX; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation 4 PM - 9PM July 23, 2009 at the All Faiths Funeral Services, final visitation 10 AM followed by funeral service at 11 AM Friday, July 24, at Graceview Baptist Church, 25510 Tomball Pkwy, Tomball. Pastors Brian McFarlain and Bryan Donahoo will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery in Humble with Military Honors.
