Charles D. Elliott, "Chuck", 63, born in Franklin, TN 6/17/47 peacefully passed away at home, 2/20/11 with his family at his side in Porter, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father, James D. Elliott, his brother, Russell E Elliott, and son, Joseph D. Elliott. He is survived by his wife Judy, son Chuck Elliott and wife Brandi, daughter Theresa and husband Emil Armendariz, 6 grandchildren; Brieanne and Nathan Elliott, Cameron Joseph Elliott, and Charles, Emil and Destiny Armendariz.
He is also survived by his mother Thelma Jean Graham, 2 sisters Lela May and Mary Ranson, and a brother John May. Chuck was a Vietnam Veteran and a proud member of the 11th Armored Cavalry Blackhorse Regiment in the US Army. He was a Turbo rated fixed wing and helicopter pilot, and enjoyed his grandchildren, golfing, fishing, friends and his motorcycle.
He lived life to the fullest following his dreams, not rules. We wish to thank Lynn Ray, Carol Hosley, Mike Canada, Serena Saul, and Doug Capps for their love and support to Chuck and our family through this very difficult time.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday February 27th at Faith Family Baptist Church 23915 Hwy 59 N (between Northpark and Kingwood Dr).
