MARK JOSEPH COSTELLO went to his eternal rest on March 3, 2012. Mark was born on October 10, 1921 in Atchison, Kansas. He was the second oldest of ten children of Richard and Marie Costello, who preceded him in death.
Mark was also preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Norma Jean Costello. He is survived by his three children: Richard Lee Costello and his wife Marie; Nancy Jean Schmitt and her husband Mike; and Stephen Mark Costello. He was devoted to his only grandchild, Kendall Rae Schmitt. He is also survived by his brother John Costello and his wife Mieke; sister Dorothy Evans; sister Nancy Bernal and her husband Bob and in-laws Norma Costello; Dee Dee Costello and Jim Hutchison.
He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, generosity, and passion for Classic Fords.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at 10:30 am, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, Texas 77079, with Fr. R. Troy Gately officiating.
