Daniel Juran Pulaski, 88, of Houston, passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2012. Dan was born July 15, 1923 to Max and Jewel Juran. After Max passed, Jewel married Louis Pulaski and Dan was adopted by Louis and took the Pulaski name. He graduated from San Jacinto High School and The University of Texas/Austin. He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific. Dan loved horses and devoted many years riding in the Houston Livestock Show with the Harris County Mounted Posse. He was an avid hunter, and traveled to Africa often. He was in the oil and gas business, and worked in real estate until retirement.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Anne Pulaski; by his children, Marlin Barad, Jane Pulaski, Dan Pulaski, Jr; grandchildren Dr. Meredith Barad, Jonathan Barad, Caroline Barad, Elizabeth Gravatt, Anna Gravatt; great grandchildren Milo and Mirabel Richtel, and Max Barad. He was pre-deceased by his loving sister, Betty Sud Weston.
