Lawrence (Buck) McGrew passed away on November 13, 2012. He was born in Selma, Lousiana on December 24, 1924, and was preceded in death by his first wife, Julia, the mother of his 2 daughters, and his late wife, Joan, also by his sister, Doris Collins, grandson, Trey Rowley, and step-daughter Diane Butler. Survivors include his daughters Margaret (Gene) Meollenberg, Debbie (Bob) Ogle, grandchildren Jason (Tanya) Moellnberg, Julie (David) Cisneros, and Robbie Ogle. His Great-grandsons, Konway Moellenberg and Gavin Cisneros, his sister, Mel Wolz, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by 3 stepchildren, Patti (Ricky) Nelson, A.G. (Sandra) Carter, Lisa Vineyard and their families. After graduating from Jena High School, Buck was honored to serve his country during WWII in the Navy on the USS Tennessee and he was a proud graduate of the University of Houston. He was a faithful and long-time member of Harmony Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, 4:30pm-8pm, Tuesday November 20. Funeral services on Wed will begin at 9:30am-Graveside services immediately following at Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
