MRS. AGNES TAYLOR age 82, died peacefully on July 8, 2013 at St.Luke's Hospital in Houston, Texas. In 1948 Agnes married the love of her life, Charles E. Taylor, Sr. and they were happily married for 49 years. She and her husband were entrepreneurs in the grocery and restaurant business for 25 years, prior to her nursing career. She graduated from the LVN program at Houston Community College. She worked at Memorial Hermann Hospital and retired after 15 years. Agnes thoroughly enjoyed helping others as a nurse. She was a member of Windsor Village United Methodist Church and a faithful member of the Altar Guild-Communion Stewards. Agnes is survived by her loving children and their husbands, Theresa Ford (Willie Ronald), Cynthia Garrett(James), Rachel Burley (Doyle), Jennifer Flores(Stephen). Preceding her in death by her parents, Frank Baye and Bernice Navy Baye, husband, Charles E. Taylor, Sr., daughter, Agnes Taylor Johnson, son, Charles E. Taylor, Jr. and sister, Frances Jackson. Her siblings, Marie Green, Juarita Green, Lawrence Baye, Frank Baye, and Harold Green. Agnes has 17 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation on Monday, July 15, 2013, 5:45pm to 7:45pm at Johnson Funeral Home. A celebration of her life on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11am at Windsor Village United Methodist Church, 5927 Heatherbrook, Houston, Tx 77085. Interment at Paradise South.
