Ann E. Moody, R.N., Admired and loved by her family, blessed by her friends, and strengthened by her Christian faith, Ann E. Moody, R.N., entered through death into eternal life on September 5, 2013. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Harry and Mary Steedman on October 10, 1915, Ann was the youngest of five siblings. She was the wife of Irving Wright Moody, M.D., who preceded her in death in 1968. They met in Baltimore where both were working in their medical careers, and moved to Houston following WWII. They brought four children into the world, including Mark, who died in infancy. Ann served as President of the Harris County Medical Auxiliary, helping lead the immunization of children with the then brand new polio vaccine. She and her husband were founding members of St. Martin's Episcopal Church, where she continued to worship. Ann was blessed with eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Robert M. Moody and his wife Lance, Nancy I. Moody, I. Wright Moody, Jr. and his wife Nancy; her grandchildren Leanne Stoufer, Sharon Schechtel, Christian Moody, Beth Leinau, Misty Hughes, Amanda Weber, Christine Moody, Rachel Moody; and twelve of her great grandchildren, the youngest of whom she met four days before her death.
Her life will be celebrated at a graveside service at 3:30pm on Wednesday, September 11th at Forest Park West Cemetery. A reception will follow at Lakeside Country Club.
