I´m so sorry to find out Kirby has received his wings. He is such a crazy guy (in a good way) . I remember when we would laugh and talk all during art class in the back. Kirby sure could make me laugh! Those were the good old days . Gloria this will be a tuffie for you. Trust God. God will give you all the strength , peace and love you need during this tough days ahead. God bless the whole family . I haven´t seen Kirby & Gloria in many years, but it seems like yesterday. Where did all the years go by so very fast?God bless, Peaches class 1966

Look For Kirby The Pearly Gates
To all the family and friends.
Look for me at the Pearly Gates.
No time to rush, no need to wait,
Because if you have not prepared
This space to you can not be shared,
It comes with a highly convicting price.
The price we know just has to be right.
The price for which there is no cash.
No bill collecting device, and
No monitor on the taxing dash.
When the life you have borrowed
Has no more tomorrow
Can you stand bravely alone?
When the clock strikes time out,
When the bell is only a vague shout.
Can you see me yet standing,
Am I at the gate, or on the landing?
If you cannot see me there
No need to search everywhere.
Just look for me at the Pearly Gates.
Just keep on paying your lifetime bill.
Remember though, that it is the Father’s will.
You’ve had a lifetime of wakeup calls.
He has picked you up from many awkward falls.
For now I am ready
I hold my head up high,
My hands are steady.
When I am no longer in the line
wondering how long is the wait,
Just look for Kirby at the Pearly Gates.

To the family, I wish to share one of my "fun times" with Kirby while growing up. One day while walking down Braes Bayou, Kirby & I saw a huge duck, we got so excited, we immediately turned into "hunters" with no weapons other than stones. The stones did the trick, we got it. We took it to his house, cleaned it,his mom cooked it and his whole family, some additional friends and I enjoyed it.
Remembering the good times,
Ralph Simon & Family

I'm so sorry to hear about Kirby's death. Although I haven't seen him since High School, I fondly remember the energetic boy that was so full-of-life and such a wonderful dancer as a cheerleader. It is my sincere hope that the love of family and friends comfort and strengthen you in the days ahead.
With love and sympathy,

To, Gloria and the family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy during this time of bereavement. It is my prayer that God will give you the peace and comforted needed to go on. As a classmate, Kirby was loved by all who knew him and shared in his great love for our school. I am reminded of how well Kirby could dance during his cheerleading days at JY. He is now dancing with the Angels.
Blessings,
Zena White
