I just learned this morning of Kyle's death. No words suffice, and my heart is stilled in anguish for you. My belated prayers for you have now begun and will continue, prayers petitioning the Lord to send comfort and peace in continuous, unexpected and compelling ways each day.

My name is Jacob Gross, and I am a former co-worker of Kyle's at Rope Partner. Just wanted to express how much happiness and humor I felt when Kyle was around. I was always excited to work with him, and we always shared many laughs and good conversation. He had an original and organic outlook on life. I know I can't come close to empathizing with the grief you must be feeling, but I will greatly miss seeing him on the roster. My heart goes out to your family. Stay well.

Nancy and family,
My heart pours out for you in prayer. I have not kept in touch with you all as well as I'd like but remember Kyle very fondly from JVBC youth group. My mom received notice of his passing from a prayer request list from their old class (George Moore). I will continue to pray for the peace and comfort that only our sweet Lord can provide.

I walked many miles with Kyle and remember his positive attitude. Our packs were heavy but Kyle was eager to carry more than his share. A great leader, quiet follower, and a fine example for others. May Kyle's bright light shining down on us from above give you the strength to navigate through this dark and difficult time. I pray for your family and cherish the memories of Kyle.

The Mattinglys have been on my heart since I heard the news. I have no words but wanted to share a verse that is special to me. "The pain of this present time is not worth being compared to the joy that is comingl" (Rom. 8:18) I'm so sorry I couldn't be there, but I have the flu.
