J. Ahola Obituary

J. David Ahola John David Ahola, age 65, resident of Houston, Texas passed away suddenly on March 30, 2014.
David, who was universally loved by all who knew him will be sorely missed. He had recently retired from public accounting and held CPA, CFE, CIA, CRSM professional designations. In addition, David continued as an Adjunct Professor of Enterprise Risk Management at Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. In honor of David and his commitment to the field of Audit and Risk Management, a scholarship has been established at the University of Houston in his name. David was born on July 16, 1948 in Bracebridge, Ontario, Canada. He is survived by his wife Georgina, daughter Anne Ahola Ward and her husband Joel, son Jason Ahola his wife Heather and grandsons Quentin and Everett. He is also survived by his sister Karen Ahola and her husband Roger Bolton.
Memorial services will be held at the Klein Funeral home in Cy-Fair at 10:30am on Friday, April 4th.

I am so shocked to hear about David. My condolences to his wife and family. I enjoyed running in to him in the evening while walking the dogs. We had some great conversations. He was also a great neighbor. I will sure miss him.

David was a patient of ours at our dentist office. I always looked forward to seeing him in my chair. He always had a smile on his face and had lots of stories to tell. I am so sorry for your loss, he will defiantly be missed.
