I worked with Joy at USFR/Channel 55,
I will miss meeting at one of our fav hamburger places. She was so kind and always aware of others needs. She will be missed by many. My prayers go out to her family.

We've known and worked with Joy and Bobby Long for many years, through good times and bad. Joy was always the beam of sunshine to cheer up our lives and keep us moving forward. Thank you Joy for every act of kindness you bestowed. You will be missed but not forgotten.

I had the pleasure of working with Joy for over 5 years at USFR Media Group. I also had the pleasure to call her my dear friend. She and I shared laughs and tears together along with some great "cat" stories! Joy was a treasure and will be missed. My heartfelt sympathy is with her family at this time.

Joy was a precious person and I knew it the moment I met her. She certainly brought joy to our work place for many years. I've missed her the past two years, especially our trips to the Lancome counter for the "gift with purchase" specials. She adored her family so I do also. Peace and blessings to you. dw

Joy and I met in the autumn of 1954 when we both arrived in Waxahachie Texas to enroll in the college there. For the next two years we shared room 225 in the Girl's Dorm where we shared everything including clothes,
Deviled Ham, crackers, and cream cheese from the little corner grocery, secrets, giggles, and Mrs Butler's outstanding peanut butter cookies which she sent on a regular basis. Joy was always full of joy; her name defined her perfectly. She was beautiful on the inside as well as beautiful on the outside. I will always treasure those years and hold the memories deeply in my heart. I am saddened to hear of her passing, and pray her family be blessed with true peace. Janis Liles Dorris
