Ida Pamplin Obituary
Born December 4, 1932 in Comanche, TX, she lived out most her life in Sugar Land, TX when her husband, Darrell Pamplin, moved his family to work for Imperial Sugar. Ida worked for Fort Bend ISD for 20 years. After retiring from the school district she went on to work as a Walmart greeter. Ida was a member of Great Oaks Baptist Church and the Silvertone Choir.
Left to remember her is her husband, Darrell Pamplin of 63 years, and children; Laura Pogue, LaWanna Hemphill and husband, Duane, and Vivian Dimmock and husband, Chris. She was survived by her five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Ida is preceded in death by her sister, Dean Weber and son-in-law, Richard Pogue.
Services and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the visitation at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, Monday, July 21, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Great Oaks Baptist Church or your favorite charity in memory of Ida Pamplin.

We are going to miss our friend Ida. She blessed us with her smile, friendly spirit, and spunk. We pray God's comfort for all the family, and we'll look forward to the day when we see her again.
