Dear Reedie, Cecie, and Carl,
Words cannot express our deep sadness at the lost of your beloved Herb, wonderful father and our special friend and my "second dad". He was such a special, special person to all of our family and we have so many wonderful memories of our times together in the states and in London.
Herb's selfless desire to fly out to be with me and mother and dad when I had surgery in Californina is a wonderful example of Herb's desire to always be thnking of others.
It is with love and deepest sympathy that we ask the Lord to give you strength to get through this and we are so thankful that he slipped away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus.
Mother will be calling very soon and we all send our love to each of you!
