My prayers are endless and my thoughts are with you. I can only ask the Lord to bring you some peace during this time. Know that he is spoken of, remembered, and thought of by my family. My dad always spoke highly of him and from child hood memories. He will never be forgotten because anyone blessed enough to have known him will remember...

Hi my name is Stephanie Johnson I was one of his students at Cy-Springs. I'm so sadden to hear that Mr. Navarro passed away. He is one of only 3 teachers that I can say he truly loved what he did and pushed (in a positive way) his students to do their very best. He made learning and interesting. I along with my classmates will truly miss him. RIP Mr. Navarro

It will be tough, at school, not seeing you in the hallways or talking to you in passing. Your sudden death has touched our lives and hearts, Navarro. The way you have inspired us has touched us even more. You treated everyone, including your students, with respect and friendship. You were a REALLY GREAT COLLEAGUE AND TEACHER; the kids loved you so much. Your actions were always kind, uplifting, and generous. You had an active mind anxious to please (all with a little bit of your expected humor, of course).

You will be relentlessly missed by everyone. May your lovely (and funny)soul rest blissfully in the gardens of heaven. Rest in peace, Navarro.

Like A Candle
You were just like a candle full of light and comradeship. Now, you have returned to the source of life, in faith and gratitude, watching over us. -Author Unknown

Mr. and Mrs. Navarro I struggle to find the right words at this most difficult and painful time, so I'd like to just share some memories.
Raymond's smile and laughter is what I remember most about him. He and I did argue a bit in classes with his macho talk and my feminist talk, but we respected each other and it was all in fun. I'll never forget our prom night. He was such a gentleman. We had a blast hanging out with friends. I remember in college hanging out with Raymond and guys in me and Celeste's dorm room and our first apartment. We were just having fun...hanging on to high school friends and memories. I lost touch after a while, but I'll always hold my memories of Raymond close to me.
Please accept my condolences. I will hold your family in prayer.

March 15, 2015

I remember taking care of Ray after my sister returned to work after his birth. I would spend all day with Ray which brought me much joy. Our special alone time. Ray would come in pi's, eat breakfast, play, nap, then I would sit him in his baby seat right in front of our new console color TV and watch The Price Is Right. His legs kick and arms would wave at all the colors before him. I got much joy at what a smart little guy he was even then. I would bath him so he would be all dressed up waiting for Grandma, Grandpa and my sister to came home. As he grew he would stand himself at the storm door and look out for them coming and he would hit the glass with his sweet little hands and had that beautiful smile. What joy, what joy you have bought in my life little Ray. You will alway be my little Ray. What a precious gift the Good Lord blessed my sister, husband, my family and I to have forever. I will miss you and love you every second of my life. Rest now little Ray. Tia Anna
